Bear Creek Hunting Preserve offers sportsmen a unique opportunity to hunt prime hunting land in central Alabama. This fertile Alabama farm region provides an outstanding environment for domestic farming operations. As a result, it also provides the nutrition and habitat necessary to produce trophy whitetail bucks, bobwhite quail and Eastern Wild Turkey.
At Bear Creek, we specialize in family groups and small corporate outings. We have guided many young hunters to their first buck or helped them bag their first bobwhite quail. In the early Fall, we also host many Dove Shoots for businesses and other groups, and we will tailor your dove shoot to meet your needs. Needless to say, we consider that opportunity a privilege. We can provide hearty home cooked meals in the comfort of our lodge. Watch your favorite team on television by a warm fire, or take in the country air out on the front porch.

The terrain we hunt is a basically dense type of terrain as is all of Alabama hunting. We have over 400 permanent tree stands and 75 covered shooting houses. All of our biggest bucks are killed out of stands or houses. Our stands are located all over the 12,000 acres of land that you will have the opportunity to hunt. We plant over 250 food plots for our turkey and deer. Each time you're in the woods you can hunt from a different stand if you wish.
All of our land has been managed for trophy bucks for years. The bucks that you will be harvesting must have at least 8 points or have at least sixteen inch spread. You will also be able to take does, bobcats, foxes, and coyotes.

Pa-Ko devotes as much attention to its plantation environment as it does to its guests. That adds up to an unrivalled hunting experience, no matter what your interests or level of expertise.
We've managed the land for abundance since Pa-Ko's inception. Stands of planted pine, plus the deft use of controlled burns, produce prime quail hunting habitat, while vast hardwood bottoms favor eastern wild turkey and whitetail deer. We routinely work with wildlife experts to make trophy game the rule, not the exception.
